What We Do
Our goal is to equip students with the tools they need to not only succeed but make an impact whether in full-time ministry or the marketplace. We are committed to growth through inner change and reaching out to the local community. We have partnered with West Coast Bible College & Seminary, enabling our students to receive a bachelor’s degree in just two years. It creates a distinct balance of biblical education and real-world experience.
Some of the most pivotal years of an individual’s life are the first few years after they graduate high school. That is why we have taken the time to create a program that is specifically designed to help young people navigate their early-adult years.
The first year of our program is focused on developing you as a person, teaching you valuable life-skills, and most importantly on creating moments for you to intentionally pursue Jesus Christ. Though academics are a significant focus, we make sure that what you are learning is not solely through classroom-based lectures. We have intentionally designed each aspect of the first year to grow and develop our students internally, setting them up for a lifetime of success.
The students that return for the second year will be immersed in opportunities and teachings to grow them specifically as a leader. Students that complete the second year at H-Town Master’s Commission will graduate with their bachelor’s degree from West Coast Bible College. They will also graduate being equipped with skills that will cause them to excel as leaders in their future schooling, careers, and families.

A credentialed West Coast Bible College professor teaches each class via an online lecture and assignments are submitted online. Though a personal computer is not required, it is highly recommended. If you are not able to bring a computer to the program, arrangements will be made to ensure that your homework is still being submitted on time.
Scripture Memorization and Study
Though we believe that earning an academic degree is very important, we also believe that studying the Bible is crucial to the development of a well-rounded individual. Scripture memorization and in-depth studies will create opportunities for personal growth and reflection specifically inspired by God’s Word that also develop a practice of study leading into their adult lives.
Discipleship and Leadership
Students are also involved in a variety of classes taught by in-house pastors and MC staff members. These classes include practical and spiritual lessons in discipleship, leadership, and life skills.
Adopt a block is an ongoing relationship that we grow with our community. Every Saturday come rain or shine it’s our dedicated time to serve our neighborhood. Assigned to a group block, we pick up trash, wash cars, move furniture, and so much more. As servants of Christ, we strive to show love through our actions just as the word says “faith without works is dead” in James 2:20 we strive to show the same grace that has been rewarded to us.
It’s more than a part of our program because without acts of faith we fall short of what God has called us to do. Adopt a block is where we can “see everyone from every walk of life come to know Gods love personally.” It’s an opportunity to step out of comfort zone and simply serve.
One of our most loved parts of Master’s Commission is the opportunity to minister to young people. As Master’s Commission we put our tools to good use with our worship team, human videos, step, and rhythm. For those in our program who are striving to become phenomenal youth pastors, these services provide an opportunity for them to connect with current youth pastors in our district. They also get the chance to see how different sized youth groups function.
With our typical service in mind, we start off with an intro to what Master’s Commission is, followed by worship, testimonies, dramas, and altar call. One of the biggest things that we stress as Master’s Commission is that we don’t put on a show, but we let ourselves be used to bring glory to God in every aspect of a service. Along with praying beforehand for our services, we strive to pour out God’s love for students through hands-on ministry.
How much is the tuition for Master’s Commission and can you apply for scholarships?

What is West Coast?
West Coast Bible College and Seminary is based out of Waco, TX and is geared towards allowing students to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in ministry based fields while also growing in their individual walks with God.
Can you attend without pursuing a degree through West Coast?
No. West Coast is a part of the culture of Master’s Commission and having already paid for it in your tuition we see that this would be a wasted opportunity to further student’s education.
What is the daily routine?
Our week consists of discipleship, speech, and scripture-based classes. We also have tools based extracurriculars that you can be a part of.
Can you have a job?
Due to the flexibility necessary to partake in the schedule that we have, a job is something that is more inconsistent than would be beneficial.
What is the housing situation?
There are separate properties for the guys and girls. Each property has ample room for students and the necessities it takes to live here.
Are any missions trips included in tuition?
Funding missions trips are on the part of the student. We have opportunities through Event Force and fundraising with other students to raise money for these trips.
Is ministry my only option in Master’s Commission?
No. You can be called into ministry, the workforce, or your own home. Master’s Commission is built to give you the tools to be successful wherever you plan on going.
